Crooked Moon is an genuinely creative mixture of high caliber musicians. Blending original song-crafting, funkdified grooves, and wide open full tilt jamming. Crooked Moon has been connecting with the Chicagoland music scene since early 2006. The songs that you hear in each and every show are a mixture of originals written by members of the band as well as covers from some of their favorite musicians. Crooked Moon features the soulful voice of Scott Grant, the sweet sounds of Dan Starck, the hypnotic beats of Mike Avadek, the thump of Steve Lane, and the wicked tones of Steven Grant.
“Lunar Surface Lunch Date” was Crooked Moon’s independently released debut album released in November of 2006. Over 1000 albums have been distributed and Crooked Moons songs and albums have been played in both Europe and North America. Come out and enjoy a show, buy a cd. We can't wait to see you.
