   About Crooked World
89.7FM EASTSIDE RADIO, WEDNESDAY NIGHTS 6:00pm-7:30pm

Crooked World
is a radio show presenting the melting pot of past, present and future world traditions, folk and roots.

Six musicians and lovers of music present shows about the music they are passionate about. There is a strong focus on local musicians who are taking traditional music from around the world, interpreting it, adding their bias and transforming it into their own crooked sounds and styles.

The presenters also play a lot of music from around the world that may not yet have reached Australian listeners. There is a lot of exciting music out there and we hope to help you find it!

There are three regular features:
*Crooked Track of the Week,
*Gig Guide
*Bluegrass Cover of the Week.

The program rotates between the six presenters, with two on each show, so it is always different every week. (currently only available in the Sydney region)

We welcome submissions from bands if you think you are suitably crooked and/or worldy, let us know about your gigs and send us your tunes.

Keep in touch - let us know your suggestions, comments and ideas!
