Since Double & Big Lu signed to Nurcha Records in early 2007 they have made a huge name for themselves with their vibrant, energetic and unique live show, travelling all over Australia and performing to a steadily growing fanbase.
Rather than dropping an album together, the duo have decided to do solo album's first to give the scene a taste of who they really are as individual's, and as a result, Nurcha Records is proud to present the first single off Double's LP (to be released soon) titled 'Lifted' featuring none other than Big Lu, with Estaban Globe (Sweden) on production and the cuts are thanks too DJ D*Phy.

Heavyweight TV, Australia’s premiere Hip-Hop TV Show, celebrate their second season with a launch party and benefit jam at Laundry on Saturday December 8. Season 1 screened nationally to over 250,000 weekly viewers and is the only TV show representing all elements of true Australian Hip-Hop Culture. The launch party hosted by MC Mantra showcases some of the best hip-hop talent in Australia, most of which have appeared in the new season; including Window Down, Ciecmate ft. Maggot Mouf, Autism, Class-A & DJ Bogues, Wan-Siks, Mata & Must, Cyclones, Rigorous, Tall Man Sound System plus many more. This massive two level event also features some ofMelbourne's highly respected DJs such as ITF experimental world champ J-Red, Cargo, Bacon and Affiks plus well known selectors Ms Butt, Aux-One and more. Heavyweight is a community TV show made up of volunteers that represents a cross section of the Australian hip-hop community. Show your support and help them continue to bring you free locally made TV that documents our own hip-hop culture.

Don't miss this all ages, all day, all hip hop festival hitting Adelaide very soon after already touring through Brisbane and Melbourne. This show will be like nothing you have seen before so come and join the party as COV celebrates 1 year of shows in Adelaide. Expect to see 10 hours of non-stop live hip hop from Adelaide's finest as well as Nurcha Records own crews from Sydney. Including a live graffiti wall painted on the day thanks to Ironlak. Come along and get rowdy or just chill out and play pool all day, it's the show for everyone! Bring ID to drink, the party will kick on through the night for 18+.
