My name is Walter, I was 20 on September 19th, 1992 when I was murdered, I would have been 21 in two months and I was really excited about that.
I was a student at the Job Corps Center in Prestonberg, kentucky, I had completed my courses after being there for two years and was flying home to my moms house in Panama City, Florida on September 24, 1992. I called my Mom and my Grandmother just to talk on September 18th, 1992.
My family was planning a big party for my homecoming, they were so proud of me.....
While I was in prestonberg, I made a lot of great friends, I attended St. martha's catholic Church, volunteered for the fire department and the Kiwanis club. I was never a troublemaker or a bad kid, I decided to go to job Corp because I was behind in school and saw it as a great opportunity to get my high school diploma, learn a good trade and live in the mountains.
I disappeared from the school on September 19, 1992, My body was found October 16, 1992 in Adairsville, Georgia.
They say I was killed by a gunshot wound. Maybe a 25 Automatic raven.
I am safe in Heaven now, but my family still suffer's and even though my Aunt has been told she has a short time to live, She has made it her mission to help find my killer so that he cannot kill again or stop him if he is.
Can you help my family? If you knew me, Please write them. If you remember anything at all, no matter how small, please share it.
There is a reward should any information you give lead to the arrest and conviction of my killer.
