Heroes
Sidney Crosby
Ok first one of my heroes is Sid the Kid. Before anyone jumps to any conclusions, and before I go anyfurther, JUST think about what he did. 18 (think...18) Years old and hes already scored 100 points in the NHL (think...NHL...100 points.) Then, in his second season (age 19) he scores 120 points and becomes the ONLY teenager EVER to win a scroring title in ANY sport. Ok, im glad I cleared that up
Tupac Shakur
PAC!! The media portrayed Tupac as the 'bad guy', but the truth is far from that. Pac tried to help the earth, make a better place to live, and practically preached the bible in his rhymes. Hands down, no doubt, no argument, 2pac was the greatest rapper of all-time.
Tony Priano (ha,)
TONY! This kid is the best. enough said. I'm not gonna sit here and tel you all of our halarious stories and such. (Oh, btw, he found it)
Besa Tsintsadze
Besa is one hell of a guy. You think you can skate? Watch Besa. You think you can play? Watch Besa. You think you're a nice guy? Meet Besa Tsintsadze. He may not have gone pro, but some of the other work and teaching he's doing me be even more influential.
Freddy Krueger
Ok, Im SERIOUSLY not trying to be weird or anything. Freddy is just the man. If you've seen any of the Nightmare on Elm Street, you'd realize Freddy Is the greatest horror character of all-time. PS If ur bein a baby, his movies werent THAT scary.
Will Ferrell and Dane Cook
Two of the funniest men alive. No, THE two funniest men alive. Whether it's "More Cowbell," or "Kool-Aid Man;" whether it's "Anchorman," or "Hiest Monkey," these two guys make you laugh no matter what. You'd think a funny guy like myself would look up to the greatest comedian alive, right?
Eddie Van Halen
Although I prefer AC/DC over Van Halen, Eddie is my favorite guitarist of all-time and probably my #1 influence when it comes to me playing guitar. It was uncontested after his first album that Ed was the greatest guitarist of all-time. YES, better than Hendrix. YES, better than Clapton. YES, better than Angus. And YES, way better than Kurt Cobain. The man is a damn wizard.
David Lee Roth
Diamond Dave: The first lead singer of Van Halen. I love this guy. I never met him, but I love this guy. This guy was a party animal at heart, which is what makes him so loveable, along with his sense of humor, hilarious stage antics, and astounding flexibility! I think me and him would get along just fine.
Jimmy Page
Behind Eddie, Jimmy Page is probably my second biggest influence on guitar and 3rd favorite guitarist. This guy could jam! He knew exactly wha he was doing everytime he picked up his axe. One of the musical masterminds behind the greatest band of all-time, Led Zeppelin.
Roger Waters
This man was a freaking genuis! The second lead singer and bassist for legendary rock band Pink Floyd, Roger Waters. I really can't explain his deep, itellectual value of music in just this paragraph, but alow me to give you an brief summary: He was for the most part the lyrical mastermind behind The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, and the amazing soul who came up with The Wall.
Angus Young
ANGUS! ANGUS! I realy wish I could see Angus rock out live. Young was the lead guitarist for my fav band AC/DC and was famous for wearing the schoolboy outfit on stage. Yeah, Angus started that. Not your older brother who is in a band with his high school buddies. Angus was one of the best of all-time, and was rocking his heart out with AC/DC at 16 in 1974 and still pounds the strings in his 50's today.
Bon Scott
Last, and DEFINIATELY not least, the original voice of AC/DC, Ronald "Bon" Scott. Bon died right after the classic "Highway To Hell" album when he choked on his own vomit in Feburary of 1980. Brain Johnson replaced Bon, and the 5th highest selling album of all time, "Back In Black," is a tribute to the desceased Scott. Most people know AC/DC's T.N.T and You Shook Me All Night Long, but dont stop and realize the two voices sound totally dissimalar. I greatly favor the Bon era songs over the Brian era tunes.
BON SCOTT R.I.P (1946-1980)
Who I'd like to meet: Angus Young, Eddie Van Halen, David Lee Roth, Sammy Hagar, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Sting, Will Ferrell, Dane Cook, Shawn Johnson, and Tupac Shakur.
Hey nick! So at the mall I didn't get to say much to you. I don't know why but I seemed to have the hardest time thinking of ANYTHING to add to the conversation. To hopefully restore myself, I thought that I'd ask you to join a group of people at kennywood this sunday. I would've texted you but as you have said, your phone's broken. I hope you can come along 'cause you are, most of the time, the life of the party!!
