Crosby+Krauss is an exciting culmination of diverse musical influences. Pop at its core - jazz, Christian and country influences immerge with each track. They are a dynamic songwriting duo with soulful, soaring vocals and intuitive, intrinsic guitars and keyboards. Bobbi Lynn Crosby and Wayne Krauss formed Crosby+Krauss after meeting and playing in their church worship band in Redondo Beach, California. They each bring their own expertise and unique style to their songwriting. Bobbi Lynn grew up performing the music of such artists as Stevie Wonder, Jackson 5 and Earth, Wind and Fire. She has performed as jazz keyboardist for legendary singer Bobby McFerrin and trumpeter Bobby Shew. She has delighted numerous audiences with her angelic voice. Wayne has performed in original and cover bands as lead and acoustic guitarist. He has written, arranged, and recorded music for the Mattel Company.
Their 2006 self-titled debut CD is now available on iTunes and CDBaby. Please visit their website www.crosbykrauss.com for their performance schedule and contact information.
Recently, I added a new song to my music player called, "Always" which might be one of the best songs I've written so far. Tthe chorus was scored for an entire violin section, however, in studio, I had one violinist, Jan "Yes I Can" Sullins. I asked her to single handedly create the sound of a "Hollywood style" string section. This is almost like telling someone, "Please jump rope one handed 10 times while monkeys nip at your feet."
Lucky for me, Jan worked some magic and now you can hear it on track 1 in my music player. It's called "Always" and is from my upcoming album, "Awakening," to be released June 16th.

Thanks for adding us and for being our new friend! Remember...
'Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.' Ecclesiastes 4: 9-12
We just wanted you to know that we love you and we are glad that God has placed you in our lives.
I just stopped by to say hi . I hope you are having a good week. I hope you the rest of your week is fantastic! I wish you the very best in all that you do this week. You are awesome; thanks for your friendship!
As always, please be well!
Tim
I've listened to all four of your songs from start to finish :-) and here's my take on it.
This is not your standard 3 chord stuff. This is very thoughtfully wriiten with twists and turns all along the way which demonstrates great maturity. Modulations abound. The vocal delivery is great and captures the essence of the song. The production seems a good fit for the music you write. The writing style is laden with hook lines and the doubling of vocal tracks is cool. As a whole, it sounds like it could go crossover very easily.... which is a good thing.
There is certainly a niche for your material on the market.
