| Bio | In only two years of performing, Justin Cross has quickly moved his way up the ranks of the comedy ladder. From an amateur night performance on the campus of his alma mater Florida State to featuring and headlining throughout the country, Cross has quickly made a name for himself in the world of comedy. His ability to combine intelligent joke writing with a powerful delivery and stage presence has led audiences and fellow comedians to compare him to stars such as Jon Stewart and Conan O’Brien. Following a feature performance opening for Police Academy star Michael Winslow, Winslow linked Cross’ ability and potential to Dane Cook. Cross’s personable style is complimented by a wide-variety of topics, from his youthful appearance to relationship trouble to the absurdity of news and politics, which has allowed him to become a favorite among a diverse range of audiences. Cross’s interactive-style and quick wit are guaranteed to leave audiences roaring with laughter.
Growing up in Jacksonville, Florida, Cross began his stand-up career at age 20. He graduated in three years from Florida State University with a degree in Political Science and Creative Writing in 2006 and quickly headed 300 miles north to Atlanta, Georgia to try his hand at the burgeoning local circuit. This experience caused him to grow both as a comedian and as a person and led to his first paying gig (a one-dollar bill from the club promoter after a house emcee performance). With his dollar, he was then able to make a long-distance call back home and beg for money to live. About me:
Justin emerged as a comedian at an early age. Only in his second year of existence on Earth, he created his own comic strip starring his hero Bob Saget. While his parents put a stop to the underground smash hit "Saget The F**got," his passion for the line of work would only grow. After mopping floors at McDonald's and overcoming a long bout with facial acne (he's still in the recovery period), Justin attended Florida State University where he spent many lonely nights writing haikus while drinking green tea and listening to Lisa Loeb. He recently relocated to Atlanta to perform stand-up (or as he calls it: giving oral in front of people) and is quickly working his way up through the rungs of the southeastern comedy circuit. His credits include noteworthy venues such as The Guiding Light Retirement Home and the I75-285 Interchange Wafflehouse. His brand of comedy has been frequently described as "Lewd and Lascivious"-- Fulton County Police Department
