Hello - We are Crossfire !! Crossfire started out with 2 members meeting at a Middle School talent show audition in April 2007. There were about 7 kids scheduled to audition that day but only Devon (Singer) and Tyler (Guitar) showed up (we consider that fate). They had seen each other previously at an Elementary School talent show but had never really talked to each other before. Well the audition judges loved Devon singing her version of "Somebody" and Tyler playing/singing "Blvd of Broken Dreams" so much that they asked if Devon & Tyler would consider doing an act together. Tyler & Devon agreed and went off to pick a new song to perform as a duo. Their first song together was "Just Might Make Me Believe" by Sugarland and Crossfire was born. They concentrated on learning more songs and in the Summer of 2007 Crossfire performed for the "Sykesville Concerts in the Park Series" during the headliner bands intermissions. The duo added a bass player (Nick) the following year and they performed as a trio for many local events - Lions Club, Sykesville Concerts in the Park Series, Sykesville Freedom District Fireman's Carnival, Sykesville Family Fun Day, Carroll County Ag Fair - opening for "Twenty for Seven" and the Hampstead Fireman's Carnival - opening for "Dean Crawford and the Dunns River Band". As the summer of 2008 ended, Nick (Bass) decided to go another direction so Crossfire was again looking for new members. After many contacts and auditions we have now added - Tyler (Bass), Patrick (Keyboards) & Josh (Drums). We have been practicing all winter and so happy that we found such talented & dedicated musicians. Crossfire is ready to show everyone that we are serious about performing and making people happy with our music. BTW - did I mention that all of Crossfire's members are 12 - 15 years old (as of the Summer 2009).
