Lori Javier grew up singing as a child in church where she laid the groundwork for developing and refining her vocal abilities. She sings with a very sultry and soulful voice. She has an impeccable sense of timing and an incredible ear for music. Lori's singing career really started with Crossroads where she made a name for herself on the Las Vegas rock scene. Lori also plays percussion and piano as well as a little guitar. She juggled being the lead singer as well as booking the band and being a mother and wife for about ten years... until she succumbed to her desire to return to her home on the Chesapeake Bay. Together with her husband David and their son Joseph they reformed Crossroads!
David Zoe Javier - Lead, Slide and Rhythm Guitar, Lead Vocals
David Zoe Javier has been playing guitar since 1974. He took lessons for a very brief period of time, and is otherwise self-taught. He was inspired by Duane Allman to teach himself to play the slide guitar, which is his unique specialty. David has spent his life with music at the core of his existence. He has spent years in search of the perfect tone. David plays purely from his heart and soul...playing music is a very inspirational and spiritual experience. Playing the guitar has never been a hobby or just something he does but rather a passion and even an obsession. David was born in Cleveland, Ohio but has lived all over the US. He started playing in a country, southern rock, fifties, top 40 type band in the late 70's around the Peninsula area. In 1983 David left the area for Las Vegas with the love of his life... together they formed Crossroads and soon became one of the cities hottest bands... they rocked Vegas for about 14 years before returning to the Chesapeake Bay area... and now Crossroads plays on a regular basis from Richmond to Va. Beach and beyond.
David attended the Recording Workshop, located in Ohio, in the year 2000. There he honed his skills in writing and recording music. Since that time, he started his own recording business, "Zoe Munchkin Productions," which has been a successful part-time endeavor.
David's main guitar is his Red Strat, named "El Diablo Rojo," which he customized himself. He also play an '83 Strat and a '79 Cherry Sunburst Les Paul. His amp of choice is Mesa Boogie Mark IV and Fender Bassman LTD. He plays through an assortment of boutique pedals.
