One memorably dull night, Stoo asked if sketchy had any new tunes. Sketchy obliged and Stoo then sent him Ghost and shadows, and they have been writing and recording via email ever since.
As well as writing via the internet, the pair have also gigged in and around Sketchys hometown of Gravesend, Kent and Stoo's hometown of Glasgow.
They appeared on a tribute album to Martin Stephenson, (The Daintee's) and have also made it to the fringe stages at the Spratton folk festival, Belladrum (Inverness) and the Wizard festival (New Deer nr Peterhead) all in 2009.
In 2009, having already played several gigs with them, Sketchy and Stoo recruited Tim 'Broon' Brown on Bass and Lew 'The bear' Robinson on Percussion and Djembe adding there tight rhythm to an already heady mix of vocal and guitar.
In October 09, the boys are hoping to hit the studio to record their debut album, already having more than enough material than some bands have in a career.
