The CROSSTONES is Bates College's first ever auditioning co-ed a cappella group. We are now entering our 12th year. We are known around campus for our fun and energetic performances filled with entertaining antics. Our repertoire is expansive, featuring songs by the Counting Crows, George Michael, Coldplay, Pearl Jam, Fiona Apple, Offspring, Gorillaz, and Toto to name a few. We recently put the final touches on our awaited second album and released it in the fall of 2006. There will be a third LP released at the end of the 2008 academic year.
We have regular performances at Bates, host an annual invitational, and love to sing with other groups around the east cost (and perhaps the rest of the country?).
