That's pretty funny. When I was at the Whitby Gothic Weekend in Whitby, England, I was walking around by myself kind of dressed up, and this old English guy spotted me and said..."Oy! You one of 'em goffs, then? There's a lotta you lot walkin' round 'ere. You're not bent, are you?" I had to ask him what "bent" meant. Turns out it means gay. I told him I wasn't "bent", then he was like, "So a goff and a yank all at once? Bloody 'ell!"
