Aysa and I moved from the city, both of us doing "the actor thing". I was Off-Broadway in "Dorian Grey" and singing with Marvin Hamlisch and Steven Schwartz to promote a new musical they'd written that I've never heard another word about in 7 years; She was on the European and National tours of Hair, Oliver and Little Shop. Our paths crossed in the Bronx and yadda, yadda, yadda here we are!

SO here's my official Bio. That crucial paragraph upon which actors depend to sum up their entire career, written in the third person as if some theatrically omincient being has taken the time to extol our virtues in print. (We write this crap during tech week!)

Throughout his career Ron has worked with some of Broadways most esteemed composers including Marvin Hamlisch, Steven Schwartz (Godspell), David Shire (Baby, Closer Than Ever) and Jason Robert Brown (Parade, The Last 5 Years) and at venues that include Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Radio City Music Hall and the White House. He played James Vane in the Off-Broadway musical Dorian Grey and recently performed in Dena Hammerstein’s “Only Make Believe” Foundation Benefit Concert and An Evening With Jason Robert Brown at Cooper Union in NYC. He can also be heard on the World Premiere recording of Vernon Duke’s Sadie Thompson (Original Cast Records). He currently serves as founder and Artistic Co-Director of Crown Productions for which he has produced and directed Jason Robert Brown’s Songs For a New World, Maltby and Shire’s Closer Than Ever, Chess, An Evening with Herman Sebek and A Christmas To Remember for the Mohonk Mountain House in Upstate New York. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Arts Society of Kingston and continues to write and produce with his beautiful wife and children in the mountains of upstate New York.
