Shortly after purchasing his first set of turntables out of the back of a SOURCE Magazine from Upstairs Records around 1991, Corey Roberts began stuffing his Mom's basement with vinyl records and proceeded to keep her sleepless many of night with the beats pounding until the early morning. Eighteen years later, all of the cutting and scratching in his Mom's basement is starting to pay off! And in a Big way!

Recently, CR's buzz has skyrocketed due to the overwhelming success of his critically acclaimed mixtape "MJ3: Fade to Jack". MJ3 is a remix album of the late Michael Jackson's lyrics mashed up with the beats from Jay-Z's Blueprint 3 that has received over 30,000 downloads in the first week, popped up on every major mixtape music blog and torrent on the net, and even has celebrities "twittering" about it. Celebrities such as Cassie and Omarion have mentioned MJ3 on Twitter, and Radio Rahim from Vladtv.com called MJ3, "one of the greatest mixtapes of all time."

The brand "CR The Beast" has been associated with some big names including Toyota Scion, Ecko Unltd, and The New England Patriots. In 08' CR tore the house down at the year end celebration party for the 20 - 1 New England Patriots at Foxwoods Casino and Resort in Ledyard, CT. His performance at this high profile party led to CR mixing it up at a number of other Patriots events including the "High Rollers Party" at Twin River Casino in Lincoln, RI and also former Patriots tight end (currently w Philadelphia Eagles) Ellis Hobbs III's wedding and reception.

Earlier this year, CR teamed up with Ecko Unltd. to release the official "Back to School Mixtape" and also made in-store appearances atEcko stores and outlets.

Over the past five years, CR has been averaging atleast five parties per week, which is the equivalent to about 300 parties a year. CR has rightfully earned his nickname "The Beast" being known as one of the most consistent and dominating djs in the New England area. A dj poll in a popular area publication recently named CR The Beast,"Rhode Island's 1 Club DJ."He has shared the stage with many national acts including the entire Wu Tang Clan, Raekwon, Jadakiss, 88 Keys, Disco Tech and Dj Premier just to name a few.

2010 looks promising for the veteran party rocker with projects lined up with Ecko, a number of remix projects, and many new doors opening off of the strength of MJ3.

"Raw Radio" on Musicfeen.com every Monday Night from 8pm - 10pm gives "The Beast" a chance to be seen and heard in a radio stationformat on the world wide web. His name is synonymous with the BEST New England Night Life has to offer, and if everything falls into place, CR's show will be taken on the road - FOR THE WORLD TO SEE!
