All of life is in one drop of the ocean waiting to go home, just waiting to go home. And if the moon can turn the tides it can pull the tears and take them from our eyes, and make them into monsoons
- Jack Johnson's Monsoon
Once I rose above the noise and confusion just to get a glimpse beyond this illusion. I was soaring ever higher, but I flew too high. Though my eyes could see I still was a blind man. Though my mind could think I still was a mad man.

When I go for a drive I like to pull off to the side of the road, turn out the lights, get out and look up at the sky.
And I do this to remind me that I'm really, really tiny in the grand scheme of things. And sometimes this terrifies me.

Some dance to remember, some dance to forget.

All I know is everything is not as it's sold. But the more I grow the less I know. And I have lived so many lives, though I'm not old. And the more I see, the less I grow.

The end of summer is almost here and there is a slight change in the air. The breeze now blows from the northwest and slowly the methodical afternoon rains will subside to periodic storms of a different sort…hailing crystalline skies and the subtle South Florida fall will arrive for you and me to explore. I am looking forward to that with immeasurable anticipation!!! :)

Each year he sent her roses,
And the note would always say,
I love you even more this year,
Than last year on this day.
My love for you will always grow,
With every passing year.'
She knew this was the last time
That the roses would appear.
She thought, he ordered roses
In advance before this day.
Her loving husband did not know,
That he would pass away.
He always
liked to do things early,
Way before the time.
Then, if he got too busy,
Everything would work out fine.
She trimmed the stems and
Placed them in a very special vase.
Then, sat the vase beside
The portrait of his smiling face.
She would sit for hours,
In her husband's favorite chair.
While staring at his picture,
And the roses sitting there.
A year went by, and it was
To live without her mate..
With loneliness and solitude,
That had become her fate.
Then, the very hour,
The doorbell rang, and there
Were roses sitting by her door.
She brought the roses in,
And then just looked at them in shock.
Then, went to get the telephone,
To call the florist shop.
The owner answered, and she asked him,
If he would explain, Why would someone would
do this to her,
