You know, I’ve been a Christian for a few years now. I remember when I was in the world, feeling like I knew who God was because I sat around and thought about it for a few hours. I remember the thrill of feeling God’s presence as a new Christian, after a fantastic and awe inspiring encounter with the Holy Spirit; and the agony of turning from the sins I loved most. I still can recall the point I got to when I though I really knew what the Bible said, and how I must be awful holy to have “gotten it” that fast. And today, I’m still growing, finding myself in a new leg of the journey, finally realizing what it is Jesus actually did on that cross. And trust me, it’s straight up unbelievable. One thing I can tell you this with absolute certainty; sin matters. And we need to be acting like it.
Look, I grew up just like you. In a screwed up family, in a screwed up neighborhood, hanging around screwed up people, and came out all screwed up. I did everything you’ve done, and worse. But you know what…God still loved me. And He still cared for me the day I decided to turn to Him for help, even though I had spent my whole life doing exactly opposite of what He wanted from me. But He still heard that prayer that day. And I’m absolutely humbled by that. If you are tired, weak, broken, confused, hurting, or even just zealous about finding the reason for life, He’s still here. And He loves you. And He didn’t put Jesus on that cross to leave you kneeling there, crying out to a God that doesn’t want you. No, He cares. And He’s calling for you.
Look, I understand that we have a lot of misinformation going on right now in the world about where we come from and how we got here. But just keeping digging, and Jesus Himself promised that you’d find Him when you earnestly look. The reality is those atheists use massive amounts of faith to believe what they believe. I think it takes maybe more blind faith to believe something came from nothing, then order from chaos, then life from non-life, then the zoo to you, than to believe we have a purpose and a Creator. But like I said, you do the looking, and God will do the answering.
So I’m here, working every day at my job, coming home to a wife and daughter. I have plenty to do. But I take massive amounts of time, energy, money and passion to get this music out to you. And it’s anointed to help you on your journey. God showed me how He blessed this ministry, and its purposes. So download the albums, get some quiet time, and bump this Jesus music. It will bless you. Then burn it, and give to your friends. And let’s get ready for what, and who, is coming together.
