About Cru Cuttaz Entertainment...YO!! WE BACK ON LINE!!
In 2003, after sensing a void in the rap industry, best friends Brian T. Hill and Anthony “Tito” Gonzalez were inspired to create a new foundation for Hip Hop music. As a result, Cru-Cuttaz Entertainment was born, a label dedicated to developing true talent.
After nearly 25 years of metamorphosis, Hip Hop has given hard core fans some of the most celebrated MC’s ever to bless the mike, such as KRS One, Method Man, Dead Prez, Talib Kweli, Mos Def , Black Thought of The Roots, Common, Jean Grae and Pharohe Monch.
Realizing this, Cru-Cuttaz set out to find a multi-faceted MC who would serve as the face and voice of their flagship label….….An artist whose rhymes were laced with street swagger and clever delivery, dominating any opponent in a battle rap or a freestyle, while displaying the ability to be truly conscious.
Enter NuClasix, the first artist to be signed to Cru-Cuttaz Entertainment! With Hip Hop at a crossroad, Cru-Cuttaz has joined the honorable crusade of continuing the legacy of the “lyrical giant”, and NuClasix personifies just that.
The phrase “Hip hop isn’t dead, but it’s definitely in a coma” is a constant at the label, and they aspire to reverse this mindset, breaking new ground with NuClasix debut album.
The current list of executives includes Emory Hill V.P. of Marketing and Sales, Jackie Hill Senior V.P. Promotions and Eugene “Woognite” Young V.P. of Promotions, working collectively to build the Cru-Cuttaz Entertainment brand.
