Music fans organized CrueFest - a music event to benefit charity. An event inspired by good-will and the uncensored energy that Motley Crue's music embodies. Since its inception in 2001, CrueFest has grown in audience attendance, musician participation, and funds raised to benefit cancer research. CrueFest grows every year because of the dedication of organizers, sponsors, artists, and fans who plan, donate, and travel to make it happen.
Proceeds from this Ninth annual event go to the Skylar Neil Memorial Fund for cancer research. Skylar Neil is the daughter of Vince Neil (lead vocals of Motley Crue) who's battle with cancer resulted in her death at age four. Event supporters share their money for a great cause at CrueFest, and artists donate their talent and time.
Were proud to announce that playing this year's event will be Motley Crue Tribute band Generation Swine featuring Neil Wharton, Tattooed Millionaires, Sweet FA, Sins of America, D'Molls, Other Wise, Sean Austin, Blood on the Seventh, Trick Pistol and Cast of Kings.

The Original CrueFest
CrueFest was founded by a group of Motley Crue fans from all over North America. The ORIGINAL CrueFest took place in 2001 in Ohio. Two weeks later, CrueFest was held at the Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood, California, and it expanded throughout North America to cities such as Orlando, New England, New York, Texas, Chicago, San Francisco, Nova Scotia, and Vancouver in 2006. There is also a CrueFest held in Australia.
Cruefest is an established charity event from the very beginning (August of
2001) ...involving the Skylar Neil Foundation. Members of Motley Crue have participated in CrueFest, as they have signed prizes that were given away at the events. In addition, Neil Wharton (Vince Neil's son) has headlined a number of events with his bands- Rock N Roll Junkies and Generation Swine. As a result of our hard work, several thousand dollars has been donated to the Skylar Neil Foundation over the past 8 years.
The event is an all-day-long festival, for which bands from all over the world apply to perform. Approximately 10 bands are chosen by the CrueFest team, and proceeds from tickets sold go toward the Skylar Neil Foundation.
Many bands and CrueFest team members have put in a lot of time and effort to make this festival a success every year, and deserve some recognition.
