| General | I have a general dislike for mainstream radio these days. There is so much good music out there that is never heard. I've always explored the forgotten corners. Thanks to the internet and small community stations this music is still very much alive and kickin'! Other than that I listen to BBC Radio 4, the best speech radio station in the world!!
I also collect historic radio recordings & jingles, especially from 1950s/60s America and the British offshore pirate era. | | Music | Mostly anything 1950's and early 60's. Love melody in music, maybe more so than the beat. Love 70's rock too, and anything blues. | | Movies | Westerns, classic movies, European cinema, and anything thought provoking! | | Television | The Sweeney (best cop show ever!) Dad's Army, Monty Python, CSI, Law and Order, Documentaries, Channel 4 News (although prefer radio to TV in the main) | | Books | Isaac Asimov, Lorenzo Carcaterra, and any amount of westerns. I'll read anything interesting | | Heroes | Radio Caroline! |

Historic radio recording collector & Rock & Roll DJ on www.rockitradio.net and my Wednesday late night DooWop (mostly) shows on 92.3 Forest FM. www.forestfm.co.uk Tune in to Rock-It anytime (play on demand) & Forest FM on Wednesdays from 8pm for Steve "Stack 'O Wax" and his Wed night Rockin' Party, Paul & Geoff with the Fab 50's Show at 10pm, and me from 11pm with some dreamy music up to midnight!
