Starting up the band in 2000, Moofle (lead voice/guitar), Jiel (bass/bvs), Dude (guitar/bvs) and Alan (drums) decided to pinpoint to melodic punkrock, where melodies and speed will make the fashionable music intelligentsia go pale.
Conscious that they probably will never be broadcasted on any of the mtv shows, they decided to record their first LP "Operation Overlord", released in May 2002, and warmly welcomed by press and audience.
Then they signed with the famous and lovely label Diskrete Music (Hogwash, Burnout) and they released a second LP "Of Miles And Men", distributed by Night&Day. This national exposition helps the band to grow up and to achieve their place between the famous french bands, and Canal+ presents the LP in the show "Album of the Week". But Crumble Lane made the difference on stage and the band toured with no respite with bands such as Seven Hate, Burning Heads, Flatcat, Hollywood Pornstars, Ginzu, Garbage, Satanic Surfers, Uncommonmenfrommars ...
Crumble Lane also played in big festivals such as "Le Rock Dans Tous Ses Etats" (Evreux - France), or DuyneRock Festival and AthRock Festival (Belgium), made gigs in very famous Parisian places (Le Reservoir). In 2005, Dude decided to quit the band and Boudo (ex WarmUp) joined them, and the band followed the road with lots and lots of gigs !
In 2006, the band wrote new songs ans recorded the 3rd LP "Six Years A Wink". This album is a mix between punkrock and pop tunes.Crumble Lane then joined "Papa’s Production", a management and booking agency. They're now ready to rock your city !
