The band was created in March 2007 in Kiev by two friends Yarik & Kum and was originally called STORMRIDER. STORMRIDER focused on Heavy-Speed Metal and repertoire consisted of covers of Motorhead, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, etc. The band' line-up changed very much during first year. A few drummers changed & there was found bass player Sergey Losev. Nothing happened until the fall 2008 except constantly changes of many drummers. In about November 2008 Ruslan Babaev joined the band. It was decided to change the name from the Stormrider to the CRUSHER. The first concert was on December, 10th. Spring 2009 the band recorded first EP which included 5 songs. Winter 2010 one of the founders Alexander Kumeyko left the band. After searching for non-durable second guitarist musicians decided to play three-way. EP «Politishit» released in 2010 as a limited edition triple digipack and purchased not only in the CIS but in Europe too. In December 2010 CRUSHER began recording of full-length album. Recording finished almost a year later, at autumn 2011. During this time the band had the Ukrainian tour and released a single «S(k)atanic Ride». The fall 2011 a video for S(k)atanic Ride was filmed. January 13th, 2012 CRUSHER' debut full-length album «Endless Torment» released by Ukrainian label Total Metal Records (a division of Metal Scrap Records).
