CRUTCH FIELD is an acoustic group with a music style reminiscent to Allison Krauss and Union Station, Nickle Creek, Caedmon's Call. The groups debut cd was released in March 2006. The independent cd was recorded in Nashville,TN and was produced by contemporary christian artist Carl Cartee. To date the cd has sold over 1000 copies. The band has finished 2006 promotion of the cd and is looking forward to continued promotion beginning in January 2007. The band contiues to work on new material and hopes to be recording again late 2007.
John & Kerri Crutchfield along with Erin Maynor share the lead vocal role, and blend soulful harmony throughout each song.
Christian Acker's laid back blues-funk acoustic sound drives the music.
The result is a very subtle contemporary music style with messages of praise to God ringing clear on every song.
The band is made up of former and current worship leaders / musicians from the NC area. Their desire to share praise to God is evident in their energetic live performances. The band is available and equiped to do events throughout the US.

Just today the boys and I were listening to your cd in the car, on the way to take John to the airport for a business trip... We sure do miss you all very much. We just moved to Dallas, NC in December and are close to your next Feb. 1st location... We will try to come out and see you! Pearson wanted me to be sure and tell you he prays for you every day!
