About me: Hummmm....My name is Heather, AKA "Mariah", orginally home grown Texan (South), previously living in Kansas City, Missouri and now living in LA....with my husband Jeff, new born son Noah, dog Tanner and cat Tuder. Call me Latina, Hawaiian, Native American, Asian, Italian....apparently I pass for everything, what a beautiful thing...no complaints. I'm a Head XC and Track & Field Coach. I'm also a personal trainer and avid runner (If your looking to get in shape, train or just learn how to run, contact me). I love motivating, encouraging, teaching life skills to youth and adults. Counseling is another avenue in my life that is currently in hibernation. I enjoy working out and being outdoors, but relaxing when I get the chance is something I've learned to do.....I take advantage of that. I love anything chocolate, spicy, and Mexican. I love to travel....I've been to many places. Being spiritual and seeking to grow as a person are very important traits I look for in friendships and people in general. I cannot stand ignorance and people who litter. But...I'm also working on loving them too;-) I support the troops and commander in chief and the cause they fight and stand for. I can be outspoken if it means advocating for someone or something. I enjoy and love spending time with my hubby and Noah (such a blessing). I love music.....what can I say it's one thing that got me through life and its how I met Jeff (he busted the move though). I could write a book on my life...and maybe I will. I'm grateful for the ups and downs in my life. I give Christ all the credit for all that I am today and all that I have. I am blessed!!!!
I'm just throwing positive vibes into your morning to help start your day on the right foot; have a beautiful Sunday. :)

How are you and Noah? and Jeff? I have been very busy with work...my 2nd graders are just about ready to transition mentally for the most part to 3rd grade..just trying to get the last few caught up! It's hectic toward this time of year! TAKS is next week so we have to be very quiet for the upper grade levels! My Noah is now on his own...very independent running after big brother. Seems like yesterday we were prego at the same time and soon they'll be 2!! I started a Walk America team at work...we walk as much as we can...or run and try to compete against other school teams! It's very motivational!! Don't want to let me team down. Anyhow take care and have fun with your family! MArsha
Here's what I know(Bill may know more). They were married in April or May of 1974, there should be a record of the marriage at the courthouse in Edingburg. I'm not sure when the divorce happened...she didn't re-marry until after Raul was born maybe not until she was pregnant with Jesse. We were told he had moved to Houston. I'm not sure about age..a year or two older maybe?? I don't remember where he worked or anything...Bill might. My guess would be that they divorced after Raul was born. I thought he lived in Mission when they married, I wasn't dating Bill again until the fall of 1975, so don't know a lot. They lived in Mcallen in some apartments near McHi for a while. Talk to Bill, I think he will be supportive of your finding Manuel. Merry Christmas. Teri
Hi Heather!!! It's your buddy esmer. How are you? Your son is cute. How old is he now? I just had my second child. I had a boy on Oct.4. I have 2 boys now. And that's it. Wanted only two. My other son is already 6 years. Hey guess what? Coach Lancaster is coaching at Edinburg High Bobcats cross- country team again. She went back this year. She had wanted me as her assistant but I don't have my degree under education. I went through an alternative program for teaching this past summer but now i need to past the test to become a teacher. So I couldn't help her out. I wanted too. She or they did good this year. They won District but in Regionals they got 4th so they are not going to state. She still has it. She was the best coach. Hey write to you laters. Take Care!! Write back if you can.
Happy Birthday!!! Hey, Jes said you guys wanted to get together soon. Im sure you're busy this weekend so how's Oct. 18th for you guys. I was thinking to go to the the pumpkin patch and take pictures of Denae for Halloween. Check out www. irvineparkrailroad. com if your intrested.
Hey girl..how are you? how is Noah? My noah is great..drooling still...but ok. I have been very busy with work and now an additional kid/. My sister had her baby who is now in my care..so I have a 7, 2, 1, and newborn at home. It's sooo crzy, but my 2 1/2 year old is potty training and doing well. So that makes me smile! Take care and stay healthy! Marsha
Yes, early is good for me. Sounds perfect. If we are both kid-free, do you still want to run in LB or HB? Or is there somewhere else where we can easily determine an 18 mi run? Let me know. My bias is toward HB only because we can easily figure out 18 miles. I already figured we can leave directly from my place, run Warner to PCH (about 3 mi) then along the beach to Beach and back (12 mi) then the 3 mi back to my place = 18. Just a thought....
Busy? Yep, I know where you're coming from. How's the new job? My mom will be here Thursday, so we could have a babysitter for the run. I have to do it Saturday because we have plans all day Sunday. Saturday AM? I must admit I loved the path I took last time here in HB...very straight forward and we'd know exactly where we stand with distance.
Hey, sorry I didn't call you. Yeah, it's back to 8 mi this weekend then 18 next and 8 and 20...then tapering down although I think I'll do one more 22-23 mi before the marathon. I just don't want to take G on those long ones anymore. It's just too long for her. Gotta do it on a day Josh can watch her. Next weekend's 8...do you want to do that?
you should DELETE my old profile from your friends list!! Someone hacked into it, and now its filled with spam/porn. haha. This is my new one, the one with me as a turtle is BAD.
I'm scheduled to run 8 miles this weekend then 16 the next. Would you still want to go? Josh had an idea...if you wanted to come here, he'll watch the kids (if on Sunday) so we can run. WDYT?
