Cry of Silence is an Asian rock band from Vancouver, BC Canada combining a unique mix of Punk, Grunge, Metal, and Funk along with some nostalgic Rock influences from the 80's and 90's. Their songs are filled with aggressive, yet beautiful vocals and harmonies, accompanied by catchy guitar melodies that sing along with their music.
Various highlights include being one of the top winners from competing in Battle of the Bands (hosted by Supernova.com and Redpipe.ca), opening for popular Canadian rock artists such as Social Code and Jonny Hethrington from Art of Dying, and doing unplugged performances in Toronto.
The band currently records their tracks with producers Ryan Stewart from Winecellar Music (Carly Rae Jepsen, Carmen & Camille, Mobadass) and Tim Neuhaus with Clayton Creed from Ear Art Music (Burning Borders, Prox, Innocent Bystander, Kill Rhythm) to create music for their upcoming debut album entitled "Influence", aimed to release in early 2010.
