Cryosys wurde 2009 / 2010 von den Brüdern Florian & Philipp als Projekt gestartet. Zuvor waren Sie als Gründungsmitglieder der Band „Undefeated" am Ball. Hier sammelten sie erste Live-Erfahrungen. Nachdem zwei Bandmitglieder der Musik überdrüssig waren und auch keine neuen Mitstreiter in Sicht waren, legte man „Undefeated" als Bandnamen ab und überlegte, ob es überhaupt Sinn macht, mit der Musik ernsthaft weiterzumachen. Begannen „Undefeated" zunächst mit Coversongs, folgten bald darauf die ersten eigenen Kompositionen und die ersten Gigs, in denen sich abzeichnete, dass die eigenen Songs gut ankamen. Bereits nach 2 – 3 Live – Auftritten wurde „Undefeated" als Headliner gehandelt – bevor allerdings mehr als lokale Gigs stattfanden, hatte „Undefeated" sich auch schon erledigt. Zwischenzeitlich schrieben Florian & Philipp weitere Songs und dienten sich verschiedensten Projekten an. Hierzu gehörten Schulbands und Gastauftritte bei anderen lokalen Bands. Immer aber brannte der Wunsch, mit der eigenen Band die Songs live zu interpretieren, wie Feuer unter den Nägeln. Mit freundlicher Hilfe ihres „MadDad" und dem neuen Bandnamen „Cryosys" gingen Florian & Philipp Anfang 2010 in ein Studio, um ihr erstes Album einzuspielen. Dies gestaltete sich ziemlich langwierig, da alle Recordings „von Hand" eingespielt werden sollten – einmal, um möglichst viel Studioerfahrung zu sammeln und andererseits die eigenen Fähigkeiten zu trainieren. Als Ergebnis entstand das erste Cryosys – Album mit dem trefflichen Titel „The Journey Has Begun". Seit Februar 2012 wird nun wieder für LiveGigs geprobt, um das Cryosys – Programm auf die Bretter, die die Welt bedeuten, zu hieven. Zusammen als Cryosys bieten Floh, Phil, Rockmusik mit vielen Facetten von Progressiv bis Metal an, als Referenz wurde Judas Priest genannt, es kann aber auch bei Pink Floyd enden…

BAND FÜR KOSTENLOSE STUDIOAUFNAHME GESUCHT!

Die Schüler der Sonic-Tontechnikschule www.sonic-music.de suchen für die Abschlussproduktion ihres Tontechnik-Kurses eine Band, die sie im Mai aufnehmen, mixen und mastern können. Die Band stellt sich einfach für Aufnahmen im Tonstudio in Chemnitz zur Verfügung und bekommt dafür kostenlos alle fertigen Abschlussarbeiten der Schüler, also dann sogar mehrere unterschiedliche Versionen ihrer Songs. ;)
