The idea to form SPELLCASTER begins in early of 2008 when Mizal a.k.a Spellmaster (SYMPHONIZE LABYRINTH / SEEDS OF THE DRAGON / PHANTASMAGORIA ARTWORKS) decided to produce a new kind of musical style (without neglecting the essence of Metal). This is actually an instrumental solo project band, thus the message in each song is quite subjective and it’s up to the listeners on how they want to interpret them. In March 2009, a self-titled promo cd has been released. The promo cd comprises of 5 songs in the vein of experimental progressive metal. Do expect the unexpected!
