Cryptic Wisdom (also known as David G) is the epitome of underground hip-hop, specializing in creative songwriting and versatile beat making, as well as audio engineering. Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, David G began writing lyrics as a small hobby at the tender age of thirteen, which eventually evolved into something much larger than he had ever predicted. With a new found passion for rap music, he began to expand his horizons and composed his first instrumental by the age of fourteen, whilst still continuing to originate his very own unique style on the mic.
Over the course of the following three years, Cryptic Wisdom had assimilated thousands and thousands of loyal consumers, ranging from within the United States and beyond. In early 2008, his debut mixtape, Tides of War: Volume One, was released for free and received over 8,000 individual downloads.
"I never expected to be where I'm at today; I never dreamed that I would ever be working as hard to accomplish something as I have been these past years. Music isn't just a hobby for me anymore; it's a passion, and a craft that I will continue to pursue, for as long as I can.
