I like Black Eyed Peas, John Mayer, Maroon 5, Ben Folds, etc... | | Movies | Lord of the Rings, Matrix, X-Men, Cold Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Bourne Identity... | | Television | I don't have TV, but seek one out for Greys' Anatomy. I also enjoy CSI, but only the original. | | Books | This summer I read 'Blue Like Jazz' by Donald Miller and LOVED it! I enjoy Harry Potter books and read most of the Chronicles of Narnia this summer. About me:
I grew up on a farm in Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I was active in speech, drama and music in high school. In college I developed a passion for photography and God.
Defining moments for me: 3 week trip to Tanzania. Semester in Melbourne, Australia. Year doing missionary/volunteer work in Thailand.
I used my advertising degree to work for a small agency in Lincoln, but chose to instead work for a campus ministry. And that's what I do now...I'm the Leadership Director at one of the ELCA's largest campus ministries.
