..Veging in front of the T.V., Reading, Cross-stitching, doing Henna on myself and others.
Religion
I am a "baby" Christian. I recently made the commitment to life my life for Him. (I had been raised Catholic, but didn't attend church regularly, so I didn't understand a lot of what it meant to be Christian.)
I am a computer programmer for my "real job" and I do henna temporary body art on the weekends. I thank God for every day I am able to spend among His creation. Even with all of the pain, suffering, war, famine, disease, etc., there is also so much more to be thankful for in His world!
Always remember to look for the good in things. My favorite passage is from Matthew - Worry not for tomorrow, for tomorrow has enough troubles of its own... That pretty much says it all!
Anyway, I would describe my music tastes as "Eclectic" meaning a mix of everything. (Except, I really don't like Rap. Sorry...) I like stuff anywhere from the 1950's to Present Day. But lately, I've been listening to WPSM (Psalm 91.1 FM) (Christian Radio) for the most part.
Movies
..Of course I LOVE "Girly, romantic, tear-jerker" movies. But I also like comedy, action, suspense, horror, etc. (Does the word "Eclectic" ring a bell?) Monty Python (ALL of them!!!), The Secret
Television
..Again, the word "Eclectic" comes to mind...
CSI (the ORIGINAL one with William Petersen [Grissom])
TLC: Little People, Big World
Comedy Central: Mind of Mencia, South Park, Blue Collar Comedy Tour
Sci Fi Channel: Stargate SG-1
Discovery Channel: SHARK WEEK!!!
Anything on the History Channel
BBC: Monty Python's Flying Circus, The Young Ones, Red Dwarf, and Black Adder
Books
..Stephen King, Clive Barker, Piers Anthony (Especially the Xanth Series!!!), James Patterson, Danielle Steele, the bible...
Heroes
I love my parents! And both of my brothers. My friend Paul (Have fun in AZ man!) J.C. † (You know who you are.) Teachers, Policemen, Firefighters, Janitors, etc. (The people who work their BUTTS off for little or no money.) I mean really, why does Tom Cruise get paid $X-Billion dollars a year and teachers and policemen get paid CRAP!??)
I love to travel, too! But I haven't been anywhere in a long time. (Work and kids will do that to you...) SO, instead, I decided to send my Gnomad on adventures for me! Meet PeeWee Stumblebum! Click on his picture to read his bio and his Adventure Journal.
You fit in with: Taoism
60% spiritual. 0% reason-oriented.
Your ideals mostly resemble those of the Taoist faith. Spirituality is the most important thing in your life. You strive to live by all of your ideals, and live a very intellectually focused life.
The Star is one of the great cards of faith, dreams realised
The Star is a card that looks to the future. It does not predict any immediate or powerful change, but it does predict hope and healing. This card suggests clarity of vision, spiritual insight. And, most importantly, that unexpected help will be coming, with water to quench your thirst, with a guiding light to the future. They might say you're a dreamer, but you're not the only one.

My New Obsession! I recently attended a Drum Circle with my friend Flossy Mae/Fairy Child. There was such a sense of comeraderie, and the rhythms created by the drum beats were so soothing. I definitely plan on attending the next one!
But getting to the point, I fell in love with the drum beats so much that I just HAD to go out and get my own drum. And since I'm a henna artist, what do you think I did??? LOL I put Henna on it!
Here is a slideshow of the two drums I'm working on. The Peacock is for my Mother-in-law, but she doesn't know it yet. (It's a surprise!) And the Greenman is for me. (He's so cool, don't you think?)
Thanks: THANK YOU to ALL of the henna artists who have inspired me! I would like to specifically thank: Kymberlee (my best friend, thank you for getting me addicted to Henna!!!), Kim (your books have helped me to blossom!), and all of the people with the Henna Page (THE AUTHORITY for Henna on the web!). To any others I may have forgotten, again, I say, THANK YOU!
Celebrity Henna: For a while, a lot of celebrities were sporting Henna. This website shows a few pictures of Celebs with their Henna. It specifically mentions Madonna and her song "Frozen". To watch the video, click here. If you watch closely, you can see Henna vines on her hands/fingers. And at one point you can see the Om in the palm of her hand! (No, I didn't do the henna!)
Traditional/Sangeet Henna
Who I'd like to meet: Belly-dancers, Yoga Instructors, Massage Therapists, Reiki Healers, etc. I'm here to promote my Henna Temporary Body Art and I am looking for models who will let me add their photo to my portfolio. If you are interested, send me an Email!
