   About the cs field trio
"The horn sings, the beatbox dazes, the voice leaves you on your knees hoping for, believing in salvation . . . " - Ryan Graves, Toronto Performance Week

A combination of trumpet, beat box and word, since coming together in April the cs field has performed all over North America and Europe at festivals, art galleries, spoken word, jazz and other events. Their demo was released in September 2007 and they are currently working on their first album.

Mike Field has been playing jazz trumpet in the streets and bars of Canada, America and Europe since 2002. Stella Jean’s most recent projects include a music ensemble in Chengdu, China and a one-woman puppet show. Born aboard the Queen Mary I, Chris Michalski is a writer and freak.

Thank you very much for your album!
It's a shame we've missed the second show.
Tell us when you will come back to France.
I hope you've had a good time in our country.
We really have enjoyed this festival and you've been a great discovery for us.

Very nice, the France invitation. Perhaps you need a non-French-speaker to carry your toiletries? Hope you have a lot of fun there.

I have a new book coming out in May, and my buddy Ben Walker just made a CD consisting of 15 of my poems made into songs. It's stellar. Some of 'em should be on his MySpace page soon.

Take care,

Stuart

Many thanks for being virtual friends. It was a pleasure for me to see you live with the brauseboys yesterdays eve.
It remembers me to what the beat-generation had done in the 50s and 60s.
