About me:

The Canadian Space Opera Company was formed in the summer of 2004, and contains some or all of the following:

Nike Abbott
Sam Agro
Dorothy Gebhardt
Paul Koster
Jorge Moreira
Rhonda Riche
Tracy Shea-Porter
Dave Till
Scott Watkins
Cary West
Jeff Santos as The Music Man

So far, we are directly responsible for:

  • Peril From Beyond Space, a four-part 1950's style science fiction serial
  • Casa De Los Fantasmas ("House of Ghosts"), a one-act 1920's style radio play
  • Gravestone Posse, a radio play set in the Wild West, which was performed as part of the Bad Dog Short Play Festival in October 2006

We will be performing at the 2008 Toronto Fringe Theatre Festival as a Bring-Your-Own-Venue show!

We'll be performing a new and improved version of "Casa De Los Fantasmas" at CIUT, the University of Toronto's radio station, 91 St. George Street.

The Global Marijuana March (GMM) is a popular Toronto tradition and is Canada’s premier cannabis festival, celebrating cannabis culture in a peaceful, festive environment. It is also apart of an international phenomenon with almost 200 cities worldwide.

This year, the GMM is expecting an even larger crowd as it teams up with the Toronto Freedom Festival (TFF) as a flagship event. The TFF is taking the GMM event and growing it to address more freedoms that just that of the legalization of cannabis.

The featured event of the festival is the GMM parade, 420 celebrations, speakers “awareness” stage with Marc Emery (and others), live music, vendor village, cannabis week and more.

Canadian Space Opera Company....Whats up?......Happy Easter!!!.....Just checkin in with ya...Also wanted to share this important issue with you as well.....As you might or might not already know, a couple of weeks ago CNN did a segment entittled "Hip-Hop: Art or Poison?...this segment was both biased and ignorant toward Hip-Hop.....Public Enemy founder and Hip-Hop Legend Chuck D was a big part of this segement....The folks at RAPproject TV felt that Chuck's viewpoint was not fully represented during the CNN segment....So they tracked down Chuck to give them an exclusive, one on one sit-down interview on the issue.....During which the question is fliped.......Is CNN art or poison?.....Chuck gives a great, insightfull interview that is a must watch for any pop culture, hip-hop, or Public Enemy fan.....Check out the exclusive Chuck D interview today....Leave a comment to join in on the discussion, and let Chuck know how you feel about his viewpoints:
