Wizard Magazine 2008 Indie Must-Read
"Ethan Nicolle is a brilliant artist and a hilarious writer. Some people think outside of the box, but he done blew the box up!."
-Doug TenNapel (creator of Earthworm Jim, Creature Tech, & Nickelodeon's Catscratch)
"Zombies, demons, vampire chickens, satanic pigs. The comic world needs guys like Ethan Nicolle. This book is a blast!"
-ComicMonsters.com
"Chumble Spuzz Uniquely stands out from the noise of the comics landscape - and it will make you spit milk out of your nose if you aren't careful."
-Mike Dietz (Animation Director Slappy Pictures)
Chumble Spuzz cartoon stories, presented by SLG publishing invites you into a whacky world of fun for all. SLG calls it their funniest book since Johnny the Homicidal maniac. Starring zany, misfit duo, Gunther and Klem, book one (released January of 2008) is a paper-loaf of comic madness. Our heroes are flabbergasted when they realize that the pig they've won at the local carnival is no ordinary sow- but a hog possessed by Satan, or as some like to call him, the big Deuce! As their options narrow, it becomes clear that, with the help of a few friends, Gunther and Klem will have to go straight to hell, start an uprising, and KILL THE DEVIL.
Also included, at no additional cost (awesome!), is the thrilling tale of cookie-blood-lust "SALMONELLA". In this adventure Gunther and Klem discover a chicken who really wants free cookies from a blood drive, but his salmonella-infested blood renders him an unsafe donor. Can Gunther and the chicken swap blood so that the chicken can get cookies? Or will the chicken turn into a vampire who can only be stopped by a resurrected, zombified Colonel Sanders? How about both?
Chumble Spuzz: Kill the Devil, written and illustrated by Ethan Nicolle, is now available at book stores and comic retailers everywhere, so go bug them about it. If you need more convincing you can read a 30 page preview HERE (PDF FILE, 5 MB)..., and watch the video below.
