   About C.T. Harrison
C.T. Harrison was born in the city that never sleeps “Las Vegas, Nevada, on February 22, 1971. C.T. was born with a creative and burning force, which remained dormant during the first 11 months of his life, while he was being moved from one foster home of isolation and illness to another. Finally, two wonderful people, Bruce and Rosemary Harrison chose to adopt C.T. and give him a real home on a small farm outside of Roswell, New Mexico, where he grew up. C.T.'s mother often suggested that because he spent the first part of his life stuck in playpens with no connection to the foster families that cared for him “ his soul awakened bursting with wild adventure and vitality. That energy grew quickly within him, eventually sparking his interest in music at the early age of 8 years old. C.T. began to teach himself C.T. Harrison was born in the city that never sleeps “ Las Vegas, Nevada, on February to play guitar with an old Gibson Les Paul copy that his sister left behind in her closet, when she left home. C.T.'s passion for music increasingly grew as his musical attentions then shifted to the drums. When his parents recognized his enthusiasm toward music, especially the drums “ they purchased his first drum set and signed him up for music lessons, which he continued throughout all of his school years. When C.T. finished school, he joined the workforce, trying out a variety of jobs along the way. However, all roads seemed to always lead back to music. No matter where he was or what he was doing, he was always listening to his music favorites, studying their individual styles and using those examples to develop his own unique style of music. Artists like Johnny Cash left an indelible impact upon C.T., with his outlaw attitude toward life and music, inspiring C.T. to set his own tone, be a leader and pursue his dreams with unyielding determination. C.T.'s songs were also heavily influenced with subtle traces of music greats like Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Gary Allen, Pat Green and C.T.'s idol Chris LeDoux. C.T. truly enjoyed recording the five songs that went into his CD, Waiting For The Other Heart To Fall. This was C.T.'s opportunity to really bring himself into his music and share a little bit of his heart with the rest of the world. As the holidays approached, C.T. recorded C.T.'s Country Christmas. This was a fun way to encourage holiday spirit and sing some of his favorite Christmas songs. Although C.T. began his musical journey traveling along a more traditional route through the music industry, he learned through a chronicle of professional inconsistencies, the importance of being true to himself and following his own path. Perhaps this is why C.T. appreciates the life of an independent artist even more, with a deeper understanding of what it takes to cultivate his own career. C.T.'s music really captures the essence of his life's experiences, as well as his genuine and down-to-earth personality. He has faced his fair share of personal and professional hardship and challenge, which earned him the title of American Outlaw, also the name of his most recent CD. However, because of his honest approach to life and music, operating solely from a point of integrity, he has also earned the deep affection and respect of his friends and fans. Despite his apparent tough exterior that he often displayed to others for the purpose of self-preservation “ beneath those layers is a man with a gentle spirit and loving heart. Of course C.T. is working toward a successful musical career, but he also wants to take his gift to the next level by giving back. He wants to use his music as a tool to positively influence, motivate, inspire and pave the way for aspiring and independent artists everywhere.
