At the young age of 15, C Thug's Brother/ mentor, Kevin (K-Money) Denson saw a musical flare in him and pushed C Thug to become who he is today. K-Money put C Thug into the studio using his own money and encouraged the young rapper to participate in many rap battles.
Growing up in Montgomery West Virginia with his grandmother and Gastoina, North Carolina with his father, C Thug learned early on how to fend for himself. At the age of 16 Young C-Thug was sent to jail for armed robbery charges but received 30 months of probation.
It was then C chose to move back to WV and keep the music going with his older brother K-Money. That is when they founded C-Thugs current recording home MTP Entertainment. They dropped C-Thugs first mixtape Hood Money Vol.1 and it did well in the streets.
Since then C-Thug has literally grown from a boy into a man. He is currently behind bars as well as his brothers AD and Sachmo. When he gets home a new studio will be waiting and C-Thug will have another chance with the release of Hood Money Vol.2.
