I teach at West Point and write books about terrorism, and have been a guest lecture at dozens of places around the world including Zurich, Ankara, Haifa, and London, as well as at a number of U.S. government and academic venues. I continue to meet amazing people in military and intelligence services everywhere.
Here is my official bio statement: Dr. James J.F. Forest is Director of Terrorism Studies and Associate Professor in the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point. He has published over 10 books on terrorism, counterterrorism, homeland security and other topics, and his research has also appeared in the Cambridge Review of International Affairs, the Journal of Political Science Education, and the international journal Democracy and Security. Dr. Forest was selected in 2006 and 2007 by the Center for American Progress and Foreign Policy magazine as one of “100 of America's most esteemed terrorism and national security experts,” and is regularly invited to give lectures and participate in research projects in the U.S. and abroad.
Here are some books I have published - they're all available at Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, Borders, etc.
