It has happened to you…you have been engaged with someone in a conversation about La Voz de la Esperanza and, sooner or later, one of you have mentioned the inspiring and beautiful music that can be heard on each program. And while recalling the music, without a doubt, two names are sure to be mentioned: the esteemed contralto, Del Delker and the world famous and much loved quartet, The Kings Heralds. Only Heaven will someday reveal the numbers of redeemed souls whose hearts were touched and received their salvation through these and other musicians of La Voz de la Esperanza.
In 1937, the male quartet, The Kings Heralds, initiated their musical ministry to its English-speaking radio audience; and since 1942 began its international journey by changing their name in the Spanish speaking world to Los Heraldos del Rey. Since then, they have been an essential part of the radio program, La Voz de la Esperanza. Over the years, either by personal appearances or over the airways, they have reached the entire world, bringing praise to an infinite numbers of persons.
Although many different singers have joined the quartet, sometimes changing the voice dynamics, the quality of this quartet has stood the test of time. Although the quartet has performed in large auditoriums and before important people in political and economic positions in many countries, their main objective has always been to reach all those whose souls are thirsty for the Word of God. Their ministry has brought hundreds of thousands to kneel before the feet of Jesus. To God be the glory!
And now, friends of La Voz, we have a special announcement for you. We would like to formally announce the group’s newest members. Having been invited by the directors of La Voz de la Esperanza to represent their ministry, the group previously known as the Decision Quartet, will now be officially known as Los Heraldos de Esperanza. This decision was made as a result of numerous requests from all over the globe.
With the participation of Los Heraldos de Esperanza and their musical expertise, La Voz will be more equipped to complete their mission of communicating the eternal Good News in both song and word to the Spanish-speaking world. This joyful and powerful union, which is formed by both word and song, will touch hearts and continue to move them in the direction of our Savior.
Your servant in Christ Jesus,
Frank Gonzalez
