HAVANA 1972//
One day while at home in the bath smoking and watching his portable television, Fidel Castro, President of Cuba, shook his head so vehemently in contempt at some misadventure of the US State Department that a small child fell out of his beard into the bubbles. The Cuban Cowboys hold these truths to be self-evident: That developing one's identity need not come at the expense of devaluing one's cultural background, That while all people's are created equal, those supporting the Cuban embargo are stupid, and that those calling for "Official English" or nativist immigration policy are idiots, and That Cuban Surf Rock makes the world a much better place.
