Electronic music, DVD's, cooking, some television, doodling, small doses of web design and graphic art, messing around .., gaming (not excessively), spending time with my friends and my beautiful new niece, and relaxing.
Oh, and I am on the board of directors of the...
BEHOLD OUR NEXT PRESIDENT!
BARACK OBAMA IN 2008!!
Music
Erasure, ABBA, The Carpenters, Moby, Madonna, Pet Shop Boys, Anything Box, Depeche Mode, Peach Union, Nine Inch Nails, Sunscreem, Bananarama, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Deborah Gibson, Taylor Dayne, Juliet, Most Artists on A Different Drum, good synthpop, industrial, club, dance, EBM, darkwave, and goth bands. I like most genres, except rap.
Movies
The entire Harry Potter, Spiderman and X-Men series, older Disney and newer Disney/Pixar CGI films, fantasy flicks, The Craft, What the Bleep Do We Know?, Serial Mom, Imitation of Life, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, As Good as it Gets, Comics-2-film, any and all M. Night Shyamalan films (except "The Happening" -- WTF was THAT?), good sequels, most anything with a good plot or plot twist, and films that profoundly influence the way that I think about life or death.
Television
It's basically this: "Samantha Who?", "The Golden Girls", "The Nanny", a lot of classic television from the 70's 80's and 90's, and my newest addiction, "Desperate Housewives". Cartoons are a big 'NO' for me. Never cared for them even as a child -- aside from the occasional Scooby Doo, Bugs Bunny, Tom and Jerry, or Disney 'toon.
Books
"Stranger With My Face" by Lois Duncan was possibly the most fantastic book I've ever read.
Heroes
Whomever invented the Escalator and The Slinky. Endless fun!
Well -- where to begin? I am a 37-year-old gay male residing in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. My life partner Richard (see my photos section) and I have been together for two years, and it's been the greatest two years of my life. I've never been happier. I know that I have found my life mate. I've been in the health care field for nearly 18 years, but am now in retail as a shift manager. I enjoy my job for the most part. I've led a very bizarre (and sometimes dangerous) life, from my childhood to this very day, and have made some fantastic friends and some bitter enemies along the way. That's the way life goes, or so I've gathered. I like to think of myself as an eternal optimist. I hope for the best, and when the worst happens -- it's that much more difficult to deal with. Those are the breaks. Somehow, my way of thinking has gotten me this far. I enjoy cooking, eating, making new friends, our new President, Barack Obama, The Golden Girls, The Nanny, Desperate Housewives, M. Night Shyamalan films, Bear Happy Hour at The Brownstone here in Harrisburg and being on the board of the Capital City Bears, spending time alone with Richard, going out with friends, when time permits, blogging, coming home after a long day at work, and reading the news online. Any other questions? Feel free to ask. I'm an open book.
And for the record, if you want me to add you to my friends list, at least have a visible face photo and a profile I can actually comprehend. A photo of just your dog or cat belongs in your photos section, not as your default photo.
ALSO: I am not selling out here, but if you like cologne, click this banner for scented oils that are fantastic! Designer fragrance knock-offs? Not so much. Richard and I were especially blown away by the Fahrenheit oil that is HIGHLY concentrated and a little dab'll do ya! MANY scents to choose from, and a bottle goes a L-O-N-G way.
