Founder members of guitar pop quartet Santa Dog settle into darker territory with new project Cue Fanfare. This venture has been quite a journey in the making, from Scottish art school meanderings in the early 1990's to recent musical adventures in Canada, Austria and Italy. These travels and experiences have influenced Cue Fanfare's sound, which combine a shared love of melody, a heady mix of intricately woven chiming guitars, English-rose vocals and songs which explore yearning, loss, and strange mythical beasts.
Great songs - really enjoyed listening to them. The recordings are excellent too and I wish you every success. Will keep an eye out for a live gig. Really pleased for you.
Thanx. Well, looking for bands who liked the great Paddy McAloon, I discovered your band and I liked what I heard. You remind me a little of Shelleyan Orphan. Beautiful voice.
it was all my pleasure my lady:-) I really loved the two nights with you people and hope very much to visit bristol some time...and you of course:-) have a great day..cheers from hamburg wich is uncharacteristicly beautiful (quite scary)...henrik
Like your songs too! They remind me of a great period in pop music!

hey! yeah...time ran so fast on the road, it didn't really feel like two weeks. and now back home everything's moving so slowly again. but i can definately use a rest now. (still having fever...) but i enjoyed so much travelling with you! i hope we can play more concerts together someday... i put a photo of you in one of my albums on myspace. (is that okay with you?) i can send you the photo and a few more if you give me an e-mail adress. love*susi
oh my god! (this is so much spinal tap, by the way. ; ) - we've just seen this movie. awesome one ideed.) i am so glad that you got to the gate in time and did not have trouble of being stuck in bremen. we both enjoyed the time with you so much as well and we really feel like having to meet you again one day!
on our way back we stopped at a tobacco store to get your lovely lighter filled up with gas by the way. now it is working just fine. thank you again! : ) it was really, really lovely from you to get us some gifts. in a couple of years - after you break the charts - i will show this one to the people and tell them that i got this one from you. hehe. ; )
hope you will find a little time to rest before the casual life starts again.
ah, greetings earthlings. is this a new project or a side project. hope the dawg is still going.
kernow is wonderful. great little music scene down here. its a little bit coinfined to cornwall but there is some real talent. check out 'all the fires' and emily maughn and also a great singer songwriter from penzance called holly rodgers (or maybe rogers)
hope bristol is ok and you guys are well and happy. come visit some time
Hi Rowena. Sorry for the delay getting back to you. My myspace went a bit weird on me and I couldn't hear any music. Joy of joys, it's working today and what a lovely departure from Santa Dog. I adore this new gentle side and it sounds like you guys are really in it too. Gorgeous. I searched you on facebook and this came up http://www.rowenadugdale.com/. Is this you? You really are a multi-talented soul aren't you? This explains why the Santa Dog artwork is always so fantastic. Best of luck with Cue Fanfare. I love it and think a lot of others will too. G
