Cuesta Ridge Mountain Boys is a band born in the sweet confines of the Santa Lucia Mountains, on California’s central coast. This five-piece, bluegrass-injected conglomerate has been together for over two years, but their experience in the local music scene is broad. With members also playing in variety of other local bands such as Resination, Hip Deep, Ourobouros, Tripledub, Stank Finatra, Fused, Moon Cabbage and Goza, their SLO roots sustain consistent growth.
A standard CRMB show includes a variety of flavor and there is always something new for the die-hard fans. Constantly writing new originals, this talented bunch also likes to challenge themselves with fresh covers at each gathering. The band’s upbeat nature attracts movers and shakers while their sophistication corrals musicologists and aficionados. The band has completed thier first album and “have sum to share” for all.
The all-acoustic, Cuesta Ridge Mountain Boys include Toan Chau (guitar), Patrick Pearson (guitar), Dan Keller (mandolin), Brent Vander Weide (percussion) and Matt Reeder(upright bass). The band shares the vocal responsibilities and has been known to solicit audience participation. Have a listen. I reckon you’ll be back for more!
Do you know any performers who might want to play a few songs on a
Thursday in Santa Margarita? I call our weekly event at the Porch a
songwriters showcase, but there are instrumental acts and performers
doing cover songs too. I'm always open to newcomers, and I also provide
paying gigs to many performers, local and touring acts. Thanks--SK
Dear Cuesta Ridge we are interested in you guys playing at our wedding in Point Reyes on Sept 12th. Please call or email to discuss. From ex-SLO residents and Cuesta Ridge Fans. 714-292-3150 or cscschembr@gmail.com.

A friend who is a friend of one of your band members called me and told me you are playing so asked me to come along and chill while listening to your incredible music. If am back in time tomorrow from watching some cycling racing I just might. If not, I'm sure you'll sound incredible as always and catch you some other time. Miss hearing you guys!
Thanks for the Old Crow!! If I had a request for another Old Crow song for you guys to learn it would be My Good Gal. Looking forward to seeing you play again.
