About me: A passion for good food and a gift for good cooking are the perfect recipe for a struggle with weight. Seeking a way to manage such an issue sparked my interest in nutrition more than 20 years ago. While a freshman psychology major, I found myself reading food labels and explaining them to my classmates as a way to avoid the infamous “freshman 15”. I soon found that counting calories and fat grams was only the beginning. By sophomore year, I had blossomed into a, shall we say, voluptuous size 18 (to be honest, it was a very tight fitting, unzipped size 18). At only 5’3 and 150 pounds, the thigh chafing alone was enough to accelerate my interest in changing my diet, motivating me to lose 32 pounds and drop to a petite size 6 within 3 months. Bombarded with questions about how I lost the weight, I found myself becoming a weight loss resource to others and decided that good nutrition, healthful cooking, and healthy weight management would become my way of life.

It's def. not for real. I'm just blonde and gullible at times and didn't want to risk having to take the time to do another myspace page all over again. It's just one of those annoying posted bulletin forwards. Tom sends stuff to ya personally if it's something serious...and stuff. HEE HEE
