I'd like to thank...
Dee Dee Sturgis: Without DD and her generosity, many things would not have happened for the Rock Academy. Dee was there whenever it seemed we were about to hit the wall. But she didn't just donate, she put her heart, soul and time into it for the sake of Culpeper teens. Without her and her husband, Dr. George Stergis, the Rock Academy may have closed several months earlier. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Mark Reiter (you are "The Force," dude!)
Dan Bales (and company...Lucky So Far- Thanks dudes!)
Lucas & Eclypsio: you guys were my Minutemen! Always ready to play. The Kritters: Your support was invaluable - never forget KRUSH!
The Schulers: ditto! (Mark: Go 'Phins!)
Ellen & Michele: Your support as teens go, was unequalled!
Katie Dove: Maintained our Facebook account... Thank you!
Victoria Gonzales: Sat at the door at EVERY show- every time - and never complained!
Dara Greene: A champion for local bands and music! Her efforts go unappreciated, but never forgotten.
The O'Rourkes: Always there to help me: much appreciated!
Revenent: Frickin' metalheads made the RA a lot of $$! ;) Morgue Rats too!
Rude Rock Family: ditto- you guys are THE BEST. I love you all like brothers (and sister too)!
4th Degree Burn (and Some Fine Kids): Gonzo and company made me proud! A Rock Academy band from Day-1!!
RATH: the first ever to play the RA. I miss you guys!
Bram and The Pink Mob: always a party when you guys played!
Brent Logan: Always lending a helping hand donating stuff and helping me fix amps - thanks my friend.
Jackie Cullen: Thanks to the queen of Madison Rock! Always offering to help!
Wendy Weibe: Orange Jam lives thanks to you and your family.
Secret Ninja Death Squad: You guys were one of my faves!
Tres Bien!: same...loved these very nice dudes!
Jesse Johnson/Heck Vecks: Because he loved the music more than any other kid who walked into the RA! Great guitar player too.
David: the kid who made us a bench in wood shop as a project. Out of the blue...What a great kid.
The Wainwrights: Behind-the-scenes "booster" help from Dr. Wainwright and support from Karen, of course. Love you!
DCS: The Swindlers came to our rescue when the chips were down; the greatest night we EVER had! (musically and financially)
Anatomic Aubrey: A powerful drummer w/a powerful love of the music. As she gets older, she'll save punk in VA!
EVERY BAND who played for Josh Thomas, Daniel Garcia or Lee Linthicum...thank YOU!

I have a new website where I sell car waxes, polishes and all that good stuff for your car! I call it "Mac's Wax Car Care" and it's at www.macs-wax.com. Karen and I are ramping-up retail websites, so I can continue writing my b-grade screenplays (movies) for an Aussie film company.
Buy some wax or sumpthin'.(...if my movie makes it do you think I might restart another Rock Academy in Culpeper?)
I live here in Vero Beach, FL now.
It's way too hot in June/July though!

Thanks to all who worked so hard to help revive the Culpeper area music scene.
I appreciate every single person who came out to support our shows and support the bands who've worked so hard to provide some very high-quality rock music.
I have so many great memories - and surprisingly - no bad memories or sour feelings for anyone or anything that transpired.
I just hit the age of 53,which means I have less memory than a Mac II on OS 3, but will always remember all of you and consider the Culpeper Rock Academy days to be among the best times in my life.
Be proud of yourselves and please...if you can....pick up my gauntlet and run with it. The groundwork is there; we just need YOU to keep it all alive!
Please do this for the sake of the kids in Culpeper and surrounding areas. Do it for the bands - and those bands who will come after you in years to come.
Please comment on the new single. Downloads available NOW for FREE! Don't miss this chance for new music.

Yo Keith, I'd like to thank you for everything you've done for Culpeper, even long before I was here. You showed everyone to fight for something worth keeping, and you have the spirit most teenagers lack. You did a beautiful thing for Culpeper. I hope you can come see us at another show, and whatever you pursue from here on out, you have my support, as well as the support of tons of local kids. You never gave up, and you still haven't, you just have to do whats best for yourself, which is beyond reasonable. I wish you well, and I know everything will be worked out.
Keith- Thanks for the rock academy. It's what culpeper really needed. Thanks for giving me a job. Working for you actually helped me in getting a job at a local record store here in Santa Barbara. I just wanna say how much I appreciate everything that you've done for the teens of culpeper. It's amazing. I've been to a couple locally put togehter shows here but none of them compared to RA shows. I always looked forward to those shows. I mean I snuck around my dad whenever I could while I was grounded so that I could come out to the shows. I think that is what I'm gonna miss the most while being over here in cali. I miss ya keith and I miss the shows. Keep on rockin' cuz u and all the bands will always have my support.
Hopefully I will be at the show tonite. This is gonna be my LAST Culpeper Concert :[ I leave for California in 2 weeks. Keep the shows going cuz this is what the culpeper kids really need.
