About the Authors

Saranna
Sara, a.k.a Saranna De Wylde and S.K. Jovovich is a writer of horror, erotica, romance and anything else you might find disturbing. She wrote her first horror story on her eighth birthday after watching The Exorcist. Her work has appeared in Alien Skin, Deviant Minds, Dark Realms, Charmingly Carnal, Summer an anthology from CyberPulp, and Monsters an anthology from Torquere Press.
Her current projects include a local guide to the ghosts of the Leavenworth area, a heretic erotica project and your standard paranormal romance novel. Sara is also a former editor for several e-publishers and is plying her trade freelance.
She loves to hear from her readers so feel free to email her at blackenedquill@aol.com

Marc
I awoke in a hospital bed when I was 4 years old. I'd had emergency surgery to remove something deadly growing between my skull & my brain. Voice by voice, I realized I was no longer alone upstairs. We liked to talk mostly about blood, death, monsters, dinosaurs, & outer space. Then we started reading books & watching movies. And over time our mission became clear: write horror stories & make horror movies, because there are not enough good ones out there to feed our addiction... Hey, why are you looking at me like that?

Katlyn
After predicting the death of her grandfather in a dream at the age of seven Katlyn Loch has been projecting her hellish nightmares from pen to paper ever since. Also known as K. Loch and Your Dearest Ghost, her work has appeared in the anthology; Gifts of the Soul 1999. She was a member of the International Society of Poets. Katlyn's goals include publishing a book of short stories and poetry. She is known to her fellow writers as the greatest improv speller of all time. Katlyn loves to interact with her readers. You can contact her through her personal myspace page by clicking on the picture above.

Jeremiah
Jeremiah is 29 years old and lives in Michigan. He has been writing since before he could write. Jeremiah has always been imaginative and when he was little he would tell his stories to his mother who would put them on paper for him.
Now he enjoys reading and writing in many genres, mostly horror, action adventure and sci-fi. He also writes fan fiction. For those of you who would be interested in reading his fan fiction this link will take you right to his work. http://www.fanfiction.net/u/409230/. He is also a chief staff writer for an E-Zine called The Midnight Tribune where he reviews fan fiction and writes articles to help those who write fan fiction improve their works. Anyone who is interested in reading The Midnight Tribune can do so by clicking on this link http://themidnighttribune.tripod.com/index.html.
Currently Jeremiah has 3 original projects that he is working on getting published. One is a vampire short story, another is a short story about a hijacked airplane and the third is a novel about zombies. He is also currently working on his second novel, this one is also about zombies.

John
John P. Zerga age 32 is a writer of horror novels, philosophical texts, and poetry. He received his Bachelors of Arts in February of 1996 in philosophy and economics and went on to pursue his Master of Arts in Philosophy. Writing horror for him is an outlet, like a roller coaster, or a haunted house, to expose you to what frightens you, facing it, becoming weaker, yet stronger at the same time. To him if you run away from your problems you only become weaker, by virtue of Nietzsche. "That which does not kill you makes you stronger". He thinks it is also a means to define what is bad to know what is good. There are many levels of evil, but in a horror format, you're not aiming for a grey area, you want the darkest aspects of reality, to truly appreciate a sunny day, simply being healthy, good conversation, or a day without aggravation. Current works include the following novels: Hallowed Trials: The Fallen a theological horror story, The Devil's Abode a ghost story, and Isis Nephilim a vampire story.

James Spade
I am a chameleon, effortlessly becoming black or white, well-spoken or ignorant, insightful or short-sighted. I am a loose cannon, equally comfortable in a professional monkey suit and noose or with my sweats hanging low enough to give me room to breathe. I am rage, weaving through lifes traffic, passing on double yellow lines and daring you to drive the speed limit. I am death, puttin in mad work every time I put pen to paper. Oh, and I have a cure for overpopulation: NO CONSEQUENCES.

Sarah
Sarah Kelderman enjoys wine, vodka, baby ducks, graveyards, books and music. She loves her husband Taylor Dahlen very much and wants to squeeze him. Her short stories have been published in numerous magazines and ezines, and she is currently working on a novel.

About the Artist

Drusilla
The massacre that became Drusilla began at a young age. She realized the world was tainted at the youthful age of eleven. As a girl, she saw evil in her peers and understood this world we live in is, in fact, contaminated with sin something most people gather as adults. This doubt and insecurity in her own race forced her to turn on it. She lacks compassion for the death of a soul, because let face it, it not innocent. As a result, she portrays her distrust and lack of remorse for humans through her art- graphic manipulation, photography, painting and drawing.
because man has done this to himself and because this is truly Hell on Earth.- Drusilla WILL KILL YOU

Here's what people are saying about my novella, Monkey Love:

"John Paul Allen delivers well-drawn characters and emotional dynamite in this tale of dark suspense" - Scott Nicholson, author of They Hunger.

"One sadistic piece of work by one of the most talented new voices in dark fiction." - Karen Koehler, author of the Slayer series.

"Disturbing and intense, this story is a one-sit read that races, carrying you along to grim, uncharted terrain." - Lee Thomas, Bram Stoker Award-Winning author of Stained, Parish Damned and The Dust of Wonderland.

"From the first page, Monkey Love draws you into a surreal world that teeters on a disturbing balance of madness, eroticism, and obsession." David Niall Wilson, author of Deep Blue and Ancient Eyes.

"It's a wild ride, and I loved it from first page to last." - John R. Little, author of The Memory Tree and Placeholders.

"Exquisitely well-written, more than slightly twisted and compelling erotica for all horror readers." T.M. Wright, author of the forthcoming Bone Soup and Blue Canoe.

"Monkey Love is my first read by John Paul Allen and I can promise it won't be the last. Touching, peverse, oddly poignant and riddled with interesting questions about the nature of love and obsession, I can't recommend it enough. Monkey Love is the sort of tale that pushes the boundaries of comfortable and makes us question our own morals." - James A. Moore, author of Deeper and Blood Red.

Thanks for the add. The Night Light Reflection located at http://www.nightlightreflection.blogspot.com is a blog that was created as a means for me to get my work out into the public. I am a young poet and have been told that as a result my writing is young, but this young perspective that they criticize is exactly what I feel gives my poetry its strength. There is a need for the voice of our developing youth to be heard. I believe that society wants to hear the somewhat disheartened expressions of the individual in the midst of finding a voice and a place in our reality. Comments are more than welcome.
