About the culture industry

so i guess it's about time to write something in here. like many things in life, interests wax and wane, life moves forward, things and people change. unfortunately at this point in my life i can't seem to find the time to focus on this as much as i'd like to. i used to love going to shows and selling records, but these days it feels as much like a chore as anything else.

i think solely releasing music is getting a bit stale, if there are any writers, zinesters, or film makers out there, get in touch. i'd love to be able to help out with projects like that. and bands, keep sending links to your myspace pages. there haven't been many bands lately that i've really been stoked on, so i'm always on the look out for that band that will revitalize my interest in this and help to remind me why i started doing this in the first place. especially local toronto-area based bands. it's been a long time since i was stoked on a local band. i know there must be some awesome local bands out there.
