    Good mornin' n good eve to all thy faithful friends and members of thy fellowship!!
    Tis time of mischief, Tis time of magik ^_^!!
    For All Hollow's Eve will soon be upon us!
    Rejoice in celebration and partake in fond festivities!!
    Let this day be the day of angels ~*~*~
    Be it of the light, be it of the dark
    What ever it may be~
    ~*Take flight*~
    ^_~

    Come n' fall into the realm of the angels~
    Come fly and grace the skys
    swim the seas, for whatever twill, just be...

    Tis true....
    Angels, they are all ov'a!!
    Sleepin' rite under our noses they are....

    Watchin' us in the gardens?
    Quite possibly.....

    They fall from light and splash joy into our lives!!
    Ever more so do they like to rejoice where happiness thrives!!

    Yet sometimes they weep.....
    sometimes they cry.....

    Where are they all, we always ask why
    but be not vexed by their mysterious ways
    just run free! who cares what all folk say

    For angels are abound....
    indeed they are all around !!!
    be one today and take flight ~*~*~
    rejoice in the day!!

    ELEVATOR FOLK III

    at The Cumberland Arms

    ELEVATOR FOLK III at The Cumberland Arms

    MONDAY 19th OCTOBER - 7.30pm

    starring...

    LESLEY ROLEY
    THE CORNSHED SISTERS
    GREG GENRE
    KATE IN THE KETTLE

    4 fanastic acts for £4.00!!

    Every month, Elevator Folk promotes the very best in original folk, acoustic and alternative musical talent in Newcastle and the North East.  We feature four equally brilliant acts at each gig, and they perform completely unamplified - no mikes - which makes for a cozy, intimate atmosphere that you won't find at many other gigs in Newcastle.  Combined with the excellent beers on offer at The Cumberland, it's a fab night out...  If you love live music and you love great songwriting, then this is the show for you!

    After you've finished here, you may like to hear this poem sung on myspace...

    Poem 162 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse
    (please see my blog):
    TEES TO TYNE: FIRST IMPRESSIONS - SUMMER 2001

    Where traditions are not so rare;
        Sea, country and works scent the air;
    A multitude of monuments,
        Planted tubs and patterned pavements.

    The longish pedestrian malls;
        The remnants of defensive walls;
    Historic buildings are a gauge
        Of the respect for heritage.

    Wheat, rape and pines in the fields;
        Estuaries guarded by shields;
    Long sandy beaches and wide scenes;
        Romantic-ruin go-betweens.

    Rivers in parts licked by trees,
        Or fringed by boat clubs, wharfs, gantries,
    And crossed by practical delights -
        Varied spans, forming pleasing sights.

    Fine churches headed at Durham;
        Football kits ad infinitum;
    Kept castles - one for study;
        Masonry behind masonry.

    And, with moulding-works out that way,
    It’s somewhere for a longer stay..?

    Hello. Please do delete this comment if you so wish.

    We're just making sure that everyone knows that our debut album 'Horses For Courses' is available to buy from our little record label's online shop:

    http://www.donttellclare.co.uk/shop.htm

    Its been selling faster than we expected, and we currently only have around a quarter of our stock left - so we thought we'd better you all know that if you want a copy then now would be a good time to pick one up! If you buy it from the link above then you're buying it direct from us, the label aren't taking a cut - so its a bit like Fair Trade for struggling musicians.

    International mail-order is available, just follow the instructions.

    Thank you very much, and sorry for making a mess of your profile. If its any kind of consolation, we don't have a MySpace bot, so I'm leaving these comments the old fashioned way. Three -and-a-half thousand of them. My life is so exciting.

    Lots of love
    Das Wanderlust
