Hard to say really. A mad and uncurbed soundclash of hip hop, funk, breakbeat, electro, house style stuff with a little bit of this and that thrown in for good measure.
There are certain nights that we highly recommend checking out in the city at the moment for quality representations of different music. Move on Up (Thurdays @ The Harley) is pure quality funk from the man Mike Henshaw. Liam O Shea's Bassheadz down at the Harley, first Sat of every month is a unique blend of all bottom heavy music whilst the C90 boys are bringing quality dubstep and the likes to the city in truly random yet cool settings!! Kabal for simply being a cool night, The Tuesday Club for continually bringing in high class acts of all descriptions, alongside its sister night, Urban Gorilla. Freshen Up for keeping the Drum n Bass vibes rolling, Rough Disko for its wonky electronic madness and last, but not least Club Pony for being hedonism of the highest order. Natural Shy salutes you all!!
Anyhows, that's enough of that kerfuffle!! We ended up leaving Mr Beardyman's cookery beatboxing up for a while. And why not, it was truly great stuff and very, very hard to beat. But we may just have found the answer. Anyone into music of any nature should check the video below out and I defy anyone not to be impressed!!!
The video below has absolutely nothing to do with music, but I love canine antics so I'm gonna put it up anyway!
Once it was just a record shop that lived above a bar. Quietly they sat in there until one day deciding to bring the music downstairs that had brought sunshine to their life in a room with no windows. Like nihilists of the highest order, there was no ethos. None whatsoever. Just a passion for music and partying in any shape or form. Though the record shop has now gone, the night lives on. A living breathing tribute to all good music.

THE REALITY
This year we have joined forces with those dastardly Phon-etics pioneers, Levi Bussue, Danny Mager, and Chris Welch in order to up the game and ensure that every month we fulfill the promises we made to the long gone but never forgotten record shop. That is, to put on a party that will stand out of its own accord. Expect cutting edge beats and hot chicks dancing like there's a fire in the room.
DJ Spinna, Natural Self, M.I. Loki, Rough Disko, FreQ Nasty, Pedram, D-Shaw, Mikey Henshaw, Rogue State, Chris Carter, Levi Bussue, Freddie Cruger aka Red staire, Jew, Joe Ransom, ED-J, DJ Capstone, Chris Welch, T.M. Juke
Every week we will change the video below to share some of the greatest sets etc with you. Just for fun like!
Following on from the last video we had, the breathtaking DJ David video, we thought moving slightly away from the turntablist video would make a nice change! Sit back and enjoy DJ Shadow, Cut Chemist and DJ Numark having a mess around using some serious sampling skills.
