I've been told a little bit REM / Killers but have a listen and leave a comment please.
The electric stuff is rocky/indie/punky and the accoustic songs are kind of pop/rock
In other words, a bit of everything mashed together..
I am looking for a publishing deal and would love to to write songs for bands and groups as required. I am committed to this goal and believe that there is a chart hit inside me! I am also performing solo gigs to showcase my own accoustic songs and lyrics. I am looking to play more venues around the country to promote my songwriting and have a great time doing so.
I’ve been playing guitar since 16 years old and have played in many different rock/indiebands since then. I also spent 2 years in an accoustic duo playing pubs, clubs and shows within the North West where we built up a really good following playing both original and cover songs. Our own songs went down better than the covers!
I recorded 2 Eps with ‘The Jellydeals’ called ‘Edna’ and ‘Erm Fingio’ and which were reviewed in Guitarist magazine and also the songs received 4/5 stars.
In 2000 I had a track called ‘Eddie and Cathy’ published on a comercial compilation CD by Loose Records when playing with ‘Flat Back Four’. This was available in HMV et al.
I am currently in a band called Resuss, www.myspace.com/resuss,who have gigged around Wirral extensively and also have a demo CD whith 3 songs written by myself.
