The Curable Interns are the product of a collaboration between contemporary musicians and artists from the the New Gomorrah Territorial Library and Historical Archive. The culture of the Horsehead Point (Mississippi) people influenced the music. Surviving after the Great Catastrophe in the unique ecosystem that developed around Horsehead Point was a mixture of humans, wheel navigators, cone-shaped beings, and tunnelling farmers. Their musical heritage was based both on blues and pre-blues which incorporated the sounds of exotic machinery and the songs of wheel navigators and "livestock."
Beginning in 1977, The Curable Interns recorded a series of albums on cassette tapes and later compact discs which were released on the New Gomorrah Historic Archive series. Recordings of The Curable Interns, as well as The High Pink Clouds, Rooster Kiev, and MF Lunch and the Little Cotton Woolies are available through CD Baby.
