Cure for Madeline was founded by friends Whitney Jackson, Giovanni Bridgeford and Ryan Day in October of 2008. Drawing influence from the 90's grunge movement that inspired them, the trio was looking to form a project exciting and relatable that would mesh concepts from this powerful musical era with new perspective.
CFM exudes passionate rock sounds ranging from heavy and melodic to orchestral and acoustic. Their 90's rock influence prevails in melodramatic vocal melodies carried by thick guitar chords and stacked octaves. A fan describes their music, "They're kind of like having a cup of tea while watching a storm; dark yet satisfying."
