My number one hobby remains the same: I'm still writing. The story I’ve been working on since eleventh grade (!) has changed considerably, and though it's taken many years to get only a few chapters, the story has grown within my mind into (I think) quite a good tale. If I can only finish it!
My second hobby has always been both a curse and a blessing. I have too often spend long hours doodling out my ideas when I should have been writing, but this has helped me describe more fully the visions that pop into my head. There have also been many beneficial accidents that materialize into story plots when by happy chance my hand took over for my mind.
I'm addicted to all of the Stronghold PC games! I have also recently begun to enjoy playing the World of Warcraft online game. It's really cool because you're interacting with real people, and I get a big kick out of helping my fellow players.

I also love to go camping and hiking with my Dad and sons. My Dad is an excellent campfire-cook!

Music
I love movie soundtracks. The Lord of the Rings movies have some of the best. I think I first developed a taste for movie soundtracks when my school drama class went away for a weekend of competitions. I roomed with my old friend Bobby Copley, and it was he who introduced me to the awesome soundtrack of Fantasia. It seemed he often slept with the CD playing. I’m pretty sure that was one of the first times I even considered that there might be a little more to all that background noise in the cinemas. It turns out that some of, what I believe is, the greatest music made in our time has been (sadly) stuck in the background where very few ever really notice it. Thanks to Bobby, I noticed, and now I often listen while writing. It’s great mood music!
I also enjoy:
I like Katie Melua's Call Off The Search album. As well as Etta James's "At Last." That's a great song!

Movies
Freedom Writers - This is the true story of a young teacher trying to teach inner-city kids. In this movie the viewer is brought to better understand the hardships of kids brought up around gang violence. This movie moved me to tears more than once. Freedom Writers contains strong language and acts of violence which rendered the movie a PG-13 rating. For more information click here - Freedom Writers

The Last Sin Eater is a moving movie centered around an old Celtic tradition. Cadi, a young girl who is at the center of the tale, seeks the erasing of her sins. Filled with slowly unfolding mysteries, and a wonderful message, The Last Sin Eater is a great movie for a family to watch together though I would not recommend it for very young children. Many of the themes deal with death and there are some spooky parts. Henry Thomas (Elliot), who was the main kid from the movie E.T., is also in this film. I must say, this movie was surprisingly good considering it isn't a big-budget film. This film is also rated PG-13.

Remember Peter Rabbit? Miss potter is the story of Beatrix Potter, the writer of the beloved children's stories. This is a good movie! I like anything about writing, but this is a touching story base on a real life; those are always the best kinds. The DVD also features a music video by Katie Melua. This movie is rated PG and besides some references to death that might upset younger children, is a great movie for the whole family to view together. Click here to get a peek at - Miss Potter
Television
I have to admit that the only show on TV I've been watching is Heroes. I like superheroes, and this show gives a fresh new twist to the superhero genre.

Heroes
That's easy! Is there another person who has so changed the world with His ideas? He is the standard by which I wish to messure my own life. I often fall far shorter than I should, but I know He is helping me. Do you know Jesus? Look to Him and see what beautiful things He can do in your life!
About me:
I'm a husband of one and father of four. I'm a writer unpublished, and a dreamer undaunted. I'm a seeker of truth who hopes for the best. I'm a contradiction made whole by a God without division.
I'm simply complicated and wholly incomplete. I'm far too busy being a procrastinator to ever finish writing my book. I'm keenly aware of my lack of concern, but I know that even now the Spirit of the Messiah is working to change my stony, ridged heart of apathy into a tender, moldable heart of love. I'm waiting patiently with a joyfully anxious mind for my Lord to perform His work in my life. And I look forward to that great and awesome day when my Lord Jesus Christ shall Himself return.

Recently I took the plunge and committed myself to being a vegetarian. By this I mean I no longer eat any flesh products: no meat. I still enjoy cheese and eggs. Mainly I’m doing it because of my religion, but I must say watching “Earthlings” helped solidify my resolve. If you would like to watch this movie go to: (http://veg-tv.info/Earthlings) However, I should warn you, it's a hard thing to watch. I choked back a few tears! OK! OK! Maybe I am just a tree hugging, old softy! But there are many good health reasons to kick flesh eating to the curb.

Who I'd like to meet: I'd like to meet with old friends and new acquaintances.
I seek to meet with higher ideals.
I seek light and love; illumination.
I seek to gain perspective; to see the better way.
I seek to look upward; to ask of GOD!

Hey there - I found a class picture from the 4th grade and we were in the same class. I posted it on facebook if you want to see it. We were babies! You can look me up under Julie Stockton Justice. take care
well look at you all grown up and with a beautiful family. Glad to find that you are doing so well. Funny about your book. I gave myself until the age of 40 to finish mine...and time is a tickin' Well you look great. Have you used Facebook at all? I was amazed at how many people I was able to find and how many found me. Tons of old friends on there.
not everyone was there to vote. I agree but now we are back to where we were. Everything has changed and with it I think people have too. We all need to really pray for our church and each other.
we have been sick and also just trying to figure out what church God wants us to be at. What happened with Pastor Norris. I heard he is no longer the pastor.
Hey! I've been so busy lately. Chase played football for the first time this year and we started practices in August....the season didn't end until late November because his team was undeafeted and went all the way to win the Superbowl:) At any rate, we had football 5 times a week! Plus, I started working 4 days a week....and now my husband is home for the holidays. How are you? Did you have a good Thanksgiving?
